Amazon Echo speakers are now friendly with Apple Music System

Amazon recently announced that Apple Music will appear on Amazon Echo speakers devices soon – and, of course, it is now unfolding. In order for Alexa to work with the Apple streaming service, you just need to drop into the recently updated Alexa application for iOS / Android and link your account. You can find this option in Settings Music.

After that, such commands as“Alexa, play music by Halsey on Apple Music” should work. Or, if you don’t want to say the “… in Apple Music” bit every time, you can simply set Apple Musicas the default service. If you do not have a specific artist, you also request playlists or genres.
One catch: as indicated by 9to5mac, it seems that at present it only works with Amazon Echo speakers, but not yet with third-party speakers (such as Sonos ONE or Polk’s Audio Command Echo-sounder)that have built-in support for Alexa.
Not a fan of Apple offer? Alexa also works with Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, Deezer and Amazon’s own music services.
